- Description
Eureka is a great place to ride and very close to the Wasatch Front. If you live anywhere in Northern Utah and want a quick ride, on a Saturday or Sunday, its really easy to get to Eureka and go for a ride. This is an old mining district so there are trails going everywhere. There is plenty of parking available for even the biggest rigs at the city park North of main street. Just look for the “City Park” signs. There are several places to eat and get fuel.
This loop is a combination of a few fast dirt roads and some really slow trails through the pines. It’s a generally smooth trail but as you approach the highest elevations the road is washed out with some deep ruts. Nothing you can’t handle, just take it slow in the rough spots. There is one gate on the North end. Just go through it and leave it like you find it. Closed it it was closed. Open if it was open.
